San Onofre to Tolú

This was a short ride without many hills. The roads were good, so I arrived in Tolú (a small beach town) around noon. I found a cheap hotel and decided to stay for a couple of nights. Tolú is a little rustic to be a resort town, but it looks like they are working on it. There appears to be a fair amount of construction going on between Tolú and the small town of Coveñas just down the road. The only question I have is: from where will the business come? There are not a lot of large towns in the immediate vicinity. The largest in the area is Monteria, which is a college town.

I did not do too much here in Tolú. I just rested my legs and ate some food. Unfortunately, I ate a hamburger that caused me future stomach issues. I knew as I was eating it that it was a mistake. In Colombia, they use a lot of sauces (mayo, tomato, etc) on their burgers and hot dogs. The problem arises from the fact that they leave these sauces outside and in the hot weather this can be a breeding ground for bacteria/amoebas. I forgot to ask for my burger without the sauces and then proceeded to eat it anyway.
